Book #61: Bitten

Kelley Armstrong, Bitten, (2001), 436p

Hello there new (to me) series about sexy supernatural beings!

Seriously, I really should of started reading this FOREVER ago. It reminds me of the good ol’ days when I was devouring the Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) series. I seriously couldn’t get enough (until that series AND the television show started sucking hard…)

Enter Elena – your typical beautiful, sucessful, mstrong lady. Well – typical if you consider being the only female werewolf an everyday occurrence. Elena fled her pack and started making a life for herself in Toronto. Until someone starts picking off the pack. Elena is forced to head back home to hunt down the culprits, which means seeing her super sexy were-ex, Clay.

THIS SERIES IS SUPER HOT! Yes, it needs to be in all caps. It’s suspenseful and sexy and fast paced. Did I mention sexy?!? CLAY IS HOT AS HELL.

Yes, I read the first book then devoured the first season of the television show. Yes, it is super cheesy and Canadian. Yes, they did an excellent casting job – especially on the hot dudes.

I have read the second book already (review to follow shortly) and I plan on getting through the rest of this super long series. It’s good. You should read it. Then watch the tv show. Then we can giggle about boys together.
