Well, well another year has come and gone. I have to say that 2014 was pretty rad. I began this blog, started running, started a home based business, and began online classes towards a degree. I also slept and ate and laughed and ugly danced. Hugged my pets, coloured, hung out with toddlers, and travelled a bit.
Now – it’s time for a new year. I’ve signed up for my first half marathon and have already booked a beach getaway. Now for the most important thing – what’s my next reading challenge?
This year I set out to read 75 books. Well, I failed. I hit 70. But I found that aiming for such a high number really limited my reading choices. I shied away from longer books. Speed read through some. I didn’t like that.
So this year, I’m going to aim for the 50 book challenge. I’m a nerd and found the Popsugar reading challenge on Pinterest and I think it looks neat. It is a a rough guide to a reading challenge with some interesting parameters. However, I highly doubt there is a book written about my tiny hometown. I’m going to aim for a book about the city I live in instead. Check it out here: http://www.popsugar.com/love/Reading-Challenge-2015-36071458?crlt.pid=camp.RTlcdYOWNcmE
